We understand resumes.
Your account will be directed personally by me, Mary Ann Victor. Before forming Victor Career Advisors, I was general counsel and chief human resources officer for a publicly-held medical device company. There, I reviewed thousands of resumes and was involved in the talent acquisition and hiring process for hundreds of employees.
After the company was acquired at the difficult ending years of the “great recession” in Michigan, many of our displaced employees asked for my help to find jobs by creating resumes and providing job coaching services. That led me to form consulting firm MAV Associates, LLC and this division, Victor Career Advisors.
Clients choose Victor Career Advisors for these reasons:
I know what hiring managers want to see in a resume and what will make them toss aside a resume in six seconds or less.
My business knowledge sets me apart from most resume writers. Through my work leading marketing, human resources, investor relations, public relations, and legal departments, I gained a deep understanding of business operations and know how to translate your experiences into compelling career documents. I can speak your industry language. If I can’t, I’ll help you find another resume writer who has that experience.
Our resumes have a good shot at breaking through the tricky applicant tracking systems so your resume will be reviewed by a human.
